After 3 years at High Point Univ. in her N.C. hometown, transferred to MTSU to receive more exposure on the court and take advantage of school’s Communications program ... 2014-15: After sitting out prior season due to NCAA transfer rules, was off to a huge start – ranking among Div. I top 20 in off. boards (1st), triple-doubles (2nd), blocks (6th), FG percentage (7th), rebounds (16th), and double-doubles (20th) – before being suspended by her coach for remainder of season. In her 22 games, was avg’g a double-double, had 10 games of 20+ points and 13 double-doubles, including ones vs. Ole Miss and Kentucky. Also set MTSU’s season blocks mark and had first triple-double in school history (18p, 17r, 11b vs. UTEP on Jan. 31) … At High Point: As junior in 2012-13, broke her own conference record for blocks shots on her way to being named Big South’s Def. POY for second-straight season; avg’d 17.9 ppg and 13.2 rpg, while collecting 23 double-doubles and becoming only fifth Big South player to top the 1,000 plateau for both points and rebounds. NOTEABLE: Brother, Kalik, played basketball at SUNY Plattsburgh and brother, Yusef, played semi-pro football for NY Panthers. Prior to High Point, grew up in Far Rockaway section of Queens, NY.
